PSP's are fairly sturdy products but after a certain amount of use some things start to
wear out. The analog stick assembly is usually number one but it's very closely followed
by UMD door problems. To make matters worse you can't just pop a new door in as there
are retaining screws inside the PSP preventing the install. As a matter of fact you're
pretty much guaranteed to break the hinges on your new door if you try. Some PSP
models have an even more complicated UMD door set up that takes extra tools and a very
specific approach in order to have a successful repair without doing any damage.
The good news here is that replacing the UMD door and other associated items in a PSP
can be a very simple repair when you have the exact right parts, tools and instructions to
complete the job. I have repair kits for all sorts of things that can go wrong with a PSP
and many happy customers have handled their own repairs without any trouble at all. This
saves money as well as the time and expense of mailing your PSP off to someone else
making it a win win situation all round.

experience at all. If you can read a recipe and operate a screwdriver you can handle

great confidence that any average Joe can do it too.
As with all the kits these come with the mid-repair bail-out option. This means if you run
into a problem or just plain change your mind you can return the kit along with your PSP,

come off of my standard repair fee so at worst it'll be as if you sent it in to me to fix in the

week's worth of waiting for it in the mail to boot.
